This contemporary country kitchen unifies classic design features with well planned workspaces and timeless materials. Rough-sawn oak timbers support the ceiling and give a hint of farmhouse flair to the space. The use of white cabinetry along the perimeter walls visually expands the space, while the island’s natural wood anchors the room. A classic blue and white tile backsplash adds some nice color and texture while the dark granite countertops are a nice contrast against the creamy cabinets. To showcase the timber beams outlining the dining room a two-sided hutch was used instead of a wall, adding some separation yet still showcasing the beams outlining the dining room.
