Railings & Newels
Timber railing and newel posts fit nicely with the look of a timber framed home.Typically the railings are mortised into the newel posts with pegs which gives it a very authentic look. We can do a top and bottom rail or just a top rail only. We have seen wood ballusters, steel ballusters and even scenes that are lazer cut out of steel that fastened between the rails.
The newel posts can have several different styles of tops that can be very unique to your project
