Fireplace Mantels
A mantel over a fireplace is a perfect place to use some timber that have been cut from your property. We can fashion a mantel into many different styles. This is also an area where you might want to use a different species of timber to really set it off like using walnut, cherry, maple or matching the species that the rest of your timber framing has been created out of. Sometimes we will engrave a date, family name or a saying on the front of a mantel. We have also inlaid marble carvings and other specialties into a mantel.
