Textures
Most commonly we are asked for a planed and sanded smooth finish on the timber framing.We also have a lot of other textures available like a hand adzed texture which yeilds more of a rustic, old world look on the timber framing, machine hewn look which is similar to the hand adzed finish but is less aggressive, has less splinters and is more cost effective and we also have used a rough sawn texture which is typically produced by our band saw milling process.
